How long will it be before the playoff is expanded to 8 teams?

If a couple major conferences get shut out of the "playoffs" then there will be more outcry for expansion.

Sorry I completely missed the point of what you were trying to say in your original post.

When are the student / class semester finals ? I forgot. We sometimes forget these players are also college students.

At any rate, I could see going to six teams and giving the top two a bye in 1st round. That's all I would personally go for. After six teams imo the argument that some teams give runs weak. 8 teams, the argument will be # 9, 10. 16 teams...# 17 argues. There is no end. That's jmo though.

 

Every school is different but if the hoops players can play in December, so can a few football teams IMO...

:thumb: That's why I like threads / discussions like this. I can understand and respect your opinion and it's a good one. I have mine, no arguments or saying someone else is "delirious" or another ridiculous term bc their opinion differs.

One thing that I am pretty sure of is the NCAA isn't going to be calling me anytime soon for my plan so we'll just have to see what happens.
