CONGRATS TO E'TOWN. Simply the better team tonight. E'town defense played great all night. 2 goal line stands came up big. Caldwell only got 3 points out of those two attempts in the red zone. Caldwell's defense had a tough time with the e'town run game. Their offensive line blew the Tigers up most of the night. Caldwell defense came up one play short of ending game when e'town completed a big pass on 4th and long that lead to the hail Mary completion. Great game. Congrats to the Tigers on a great season. Nobody picked this team 10 and 3 in preseason. GOOD LUCK to E'town next week.

Well said, Tiger1988

Many people said that Etown only was undefeated because of their weak schedule, and they only had a one-dimensional run game.

Welp, the last 2 weeks has proved that wrong.

I picked Elizabethtown to win and figured it would be very close. Congratulations to both teams on great seasons.

Personal foul called on the tigers on the last E-town drive was a KILLER for Caldwell when it looked like Caldwell had them stopped. Boy boy boy.....

Grace in defeat is often a bitter pill to swallow, but it tastes better than sour grapes in the long run-

E'town has a solid passing game, and THE BEST defense Caldwell seen all year. Not even close.

I would say the completion on 4th and long was much bigger.

One hell of a ballgame. Whichever team won was going to feel fortunate to get out of there with a win.

Both teams made plays, but both teams missed chances and turned the ball over.

Congrats to E-town for the win and for several players and coaches from the Panthers helping pick Caldwell players up off the ground and consoling them after the final horn.

An emotional rollercoaster for both sides.

Congratulations to Etown on the win tonight. Congratulations to my Tigers on a great season.

Caldwell absolutely made a believer out of me and it is clear they are a program to reckon with moving forward and were not just Sindelair and company.

The way they keep numbers high and the solid feeder program means that this won't be the final time you see Caldwell playing this late in November in 3A

As for Etown..: I had a hunch they would win and it proved right. Coach Brown can flat out coach and the Panthers are showing great balance and the ability to make big plays on D to give them a chance:

Whole 'nother animal awaits in LexCath and their explosive team. Never count a Brown coached team out especially with a back as dangerous as Cecil
