SK sacked the Cooper qb in the endzone and the refs didn't give SK 2 points for the safety in the first half. SK tackled the qb when he was scrambling he jumped in the hair and was tackled SK was called for a personal foul. Probably 6 or 7 other bad calls. But SK defense stepped up and made some big time plays to stop Cooper!!!!

Great season Cooper football players you stepped up and played some great 6A ball!!!

The call to go for two at the end of the game was the correct call and I will back Coach Borchers on that all day every day. Botched PAT attempt the first score with the back up kicker. Hollifield was out because he had his appendix removed and it only happened a few days ago.

 

Cooper had there chances in this game, just didn't make enough plays and SK did. Officiating was not as bad as UK wants you to believe. He has to have a reason as to why SK barely won. Both teams played good football tonight and congrats to SK on the win! Plus, anyone that has been to Cooper should know that if it rains any the week of the game the field will be muddy! The fact that it was sunny and 45 today wasn't going to dry that swamp out after the rain it took on Wednesday

You do realize the refs helped SK more than hurt them in this game. They should have called holding on the receivers on almost every run play (only called it once) and let SK get away with pass interference a half dozen times.

 

The refs let the game go unless it was too blatant to not throw the flags.

 

In the end that was a great game. Wish Cooper's kicker didn't have to have his appendix removed this week as that was the difference in this one.

SK can win 60 to 0, 2 to 0, 14 to 7 or 13 to 12 at the end of the day a win is a win SK 13-0!!!! SK all the way!!!! Pioneers keep digging getting it done!!!

I am pretty level headed when it comes to officials. Those guys were AWFUL!! The field was a mess. That is why games like these should have to be played on turf. They do it in Ohio. Both teams had to combate the same slop but Cooper definitely had the advantage because of them being used to that type of surface. UK1 was not making excuses. Just stating the facts. On a side note, I can't believe I'm defending UK1.
