The 72 win mark is a hot topic among NBA fans in regards to the Warriors, but as we all know, championships aren't won in the regular season. Is there any way the Dubs are able to go a perfect 16-0 in the playoffs?

 

For reference, the '01 Lakers, led by Shaq Diesel hold set the bar at a tremendous 15-1, with the only blemish coming in Game 1 of The Finals to the 76ers on the strength of a 48-point A.I. game. (Which inspired my phone case.)

I think they can do it but I'd need to see the matchups before I could give a firm answer.

And let's assume Coffee Black isn't the PG for all four teams.

I don't think so. That Lakers team was unreal.

Also hoping they fall short and only win 71 games at most.

Heck no. I bet they don't make it out of the Western Conference. Just the luck of being in the West.

Warriors are playing awesome right now but I think some people may be jumping the gun a little quick.

I agree, and the part of me that wants LeBron to win a title in Cleveland wants them to miss the playoffs. But there's another part mesmerized by Steph, that doesn't want to hear the LeBron got saved by not playing the Dubs narrative. So it's a win-win I guess.

Between the Clippers, Spurs, Thunder and Cavs, someone is getting a game off of those dudes in the playoffs, IMO.
