Bengals haven't won a big game in 20 something years, what makes this game any different? Bengals lose.

So you consider this a big game? But then you say they haven't won a big game in 20 plus years? You are wrong and I will feel free to tell and show you why if you like.

A couple of years ago, the Bengals won in Pitt to put themselves in the playoffs and knock the Steelers out.. That's a huge game!

Exactly! Also won the monday night football game last year against the Broncos to clinch a playoff spot.

The Bengals have beaten pretty much every top team and qb over the last five years. They just haven't got it done in the playoffs. People seem to get that confused thinking they don't win any big or tough games. It's silly.

Why is this game any bigger than Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago? Why is that not considered a big game? Why was Seattle not considered a big game?

The beginning of the end? Go 8-0 then lose 2 in a row, could be a confidence buster for the Bengals. :idunno:

Greenbay 2015 is a good example.

Playoff games aren't big games? :lol2: Call me silly. Your going to hang your hat on a couple of big wins, that weren't playoff wins, just wins that got you to the playoffs? Now, that's silly. :lol2:

Tell me how that worked out. The Bengals were watching the second game of the playoffs, just like I was, sitting in their man cave at home. :thumb:

They lasted longer than the Steelers that year. In reality, that was a playoff win...

Winner (Bengals) moved on... Loser (Steelers) stayed home..

Everyone wants a SuperBowl title obviously... So, in reality... The 81' Bengals and they 88' Bengals finished where 30 other teams did...without a title.

I don't care if they win one playoff game or even two... It only counts when you win it all and you can't win it all if you're not one of 6 AFC teams in the playoffs... The more you're there, the better your odds... This will be the 5th year in a row they'll have a chance. That's pretty cool to see since they had no playoff teams from like 92' until 2005...

Getting to the playoffs takes winning "big" games and only 1 team out of 32 will win the "biggest" game this year... Bengals might not do it, but they have a better shot than 20 other teams.

Given how they've reacted this year I would bet big against that. These aren't high school kids. They've had plenty of opportunities to have their confidence busted this year and have not let it happen.

Greenbay 2015 is a good example.

Sure it is.

I guess it's me. I just think over the years that I have given up on the Bengals. My definition of a big game, obviously, isn't the same as yours. That's ok by me. I hope the Bengals do well this year and finally win a playoff game.

You can't win it all if you can't get past the 1st playoff game.

And you can't win the first playoff game if you don't get there...

You said you've given up on the Bengals and if winning playoff games is all you care about, you should've given up on them decades ago...

The Bengals have only won 5 playoff games in their entire history... I repeat, 5!

That's why I refuse to hold it against this current team... They're good players, most of them are good people, they're trying. If they don't get it done, they've still accomplished more than 95% of all Bengal teams in history just by getting to the playoffs.

Again, winning it all is the objective... But do you really think the fans want it more than the players and the organization? In the 90's I would answer yes... Mike Brown appeared not to care and the team was full of selfish players like Pickens for example.

This group is different, including Mike Brown... So, while they might not win it all... I'll continue to root for them. Good people working together for a common goal. Let's hope they achieve it finally.

I was at a Monday Night Football last year against the Broncos. I threw back a few beers that night but could've sworn the Bengals won

So what makes Sunday Night a big game, that is different from the other games people mentioned? Cause a normal person would assume that you were implying that Sunday was a big game.
