Pretty sure the transfer you're speaking of was ruled ineligible. At least that was the last I heard.

He is tall, but he is NOT a big. Only plays on the perimeter...

Owen County should be higher. Not a team in the state has a player who can shut down Carson Williams. Their guards rely on the 3 a lot so they may lose 1 or 2 games if they have an off night, but they are as good as just about anyone.

Don't blame the C-J or Jason Frakes. EVERY coach in the state receives a ballot.

Does not surprise me the Courier Journal left Wayne Co out of top 25. I think the Journal has not figured out in all these years, we are in Kentucky and not Tennessee. I don't know how we stack up against a lot of these teams, but know we just beat the 25th team on their court last week by 18.

 

Wayne County did not Beat the #25 team last week, They did however beat Clay County TN. by 18 pts,

 

Clay County KY, plays their 1st scrimmage next week.

If clays players buy in they will be better Playmaker, they have the one thing they where missing last year in a Big man who can bang. Get off that South Laurel bandwagon, they haven't proved anything yet.

Clay could very well be better than last year. IMO they will not. Same big that was there last year ain't it? I just think they will miss Ryan House more than they think. South has a lot to prove before being mentioned with Clay. First is beating Clay and 2nd getting out of district. South is the better team though

South Laurel def. should be in top 25.
