The Beechwood offense was unstoppable again. No punts in the game for Beechwood. Frankfort fought hard the whole night. They have some very solid players and speed. The WR's dropped quite a few balls that would have helped them a lot offensively. Frankfort chose to go for it on 4th down most of the night and did squib kicks on their kickoffs but they weren't able to convert many of those tries.

Play of the game for Beechwood was 6'4" 270 pound Justin Overstreet intercepting a screen pass then showing great moves, making a couple nice cuts that left the Frankfort QB on his rear, and showing speed as well returning the INT for a TD. The big guy was really moving. How many players that big run a legitimate 5 flat 40?

Aiden Justice came in for an injured Ethan Stringer and put on a show of his own. Justice will be one of the leading rushers in N. Ky. next year. He is not big but he is super quick with speed to burn. He had 3 TD's and over 100 yards in less than one half of action.

Here is the scoring:

Q1

7:31 BW ustice 5 yard run, Mario German XP ... 7-0

5:31 BW Justice 41 yard run, XP blocked ... 14-0

1:57 FR DeShawn Newton 24 yard FG ... 14-3

Q2

10:40 BW Justice 37 yard run, German XP ... 20-3

1:12 BW Kyle Fieger to Logan Castleman 6 yards, Daniel Mescher XP ... 27-3

0:47 BW Fieger to Brett Slusher 33 yards, Mescher XP ... 34-3

Q3

11:16 BW Fieger to Castleman 49 yards, Mescher XP ... 41-3

8:18 BW Overstreet 22 yard INT return, Mescher XP ... 48-3

Q4

7:02 FR Newton to Devonte Faulkner 16 yards, Newton XP ... 48-10

I was really impressed by the play calling for the Panthers only if they could execute it on the field. The game got ugly quick for Frankfort and the young Panthers jus couldn't finish drives.

Shout out to the concessions best burger I've had at a high school football game and I apologize for not making it back for the gumbo.

"Justice came in for an injured Ethan Stringer"......... What happened to Stringer, or is this carryover from the previous week when he came off with the help of coaches?

don't post, been a fan forever. Rarely miss a Beechwood game. Can the Tigers make it without Stringer? Went down with an MCL injury, and is very questionable. After his injury Wood only used #22. He is very good, but I can't believe Beechwood Has no one else to try to replace Stringer. Guess they could move Slusher there, but then they lose a threat elsewhere.

First of all, here's hoping for good news on Ethan Stringer. He is one of the Tiger's big three players that have been leading this team all season. Hopefully he can get back on the field before this season ends.

As to the question of whether the Tigers can do it without him, the answer is yes. As good as Stringer is, Beechwood has enough depth at the positions he plays to get it done. That was in evidence last night with Aiden Justice stepping in at RB and having a huge game. Stringer went out on the first series of the game and look at the score in this one. Stringer will undoubtedly be missed but the Tigers can win it without him. It will be more difficult but they can do it without him.

As to last night's game, the Tigers offense is clicking on all levels and getting even better. Freshman Logan Castleman stepped up big on offense making big plays and receptions. That is another weapon on offense for the Tigers. Lucas Benson had a couple of receptions and made big plays on defense. Beechwood continues to get better every week.

Frankfort has some really good players but just not enough of them. Their QB Newton played a very good game. It is a shame Robinson got hurt. Add him to this team and Frankfort would be a top 10 team in 1A, no doubt.

I can't end this without commenting on Beechwood's Justin Overstreet. That play intercepting the pass by the big guy was pure joy to watch. He is one heck of an athlete.

Good job Tigers! Keep it going.

Ethan's athleticism will certainly be missed at running back but where he will be missed the most IMO is defense, especially when Beechwood plays good running teams.

Good luck Tigers the rest of the way. Hope Stringer can get back on the field.

Overstreet's pick six was described as a pure joy to watch. Can't help but smile as that was my reaction earlier this year (forgive me forgetting the opponent) when he stole the ball in the middle of a scrum and took it 40+ yds to the house. Not often a defensive tackle scores a TD. Twice in one season.....awesome!

If we only had someone to replace him on the line, I would love to see Overstreet at tailback in the power I and let him go to work. Derrick Henry doesn't have anything on Justin Overstreet.

Don't quite remember gazelle moves, but definitely remember "Sherman tank" speed, power, and mobility.
