Almost every liberal statement gets multiple challenges on here. Interesting that this claim only got one response. Second, here is an explanation for this, it is the legacy of the "southern strategy." To be clear, I have said that if I were running as an R, I would give up on trying to get the black vote (for the reasons I have already cited). I have never said that I think the R party has given up on getting the black vote. You have repeatedly, I have not. I am sure some in the R party have given up on the black vote and some have not. I will also add if I was a D running for office, I would not work hard at all for the black vote either. No need to as I would get 90% without even trying. Anyway we have :deadhorse: on this subject. Rock on...
