How much time was on the clock before kickoff?

 

Teams need to take care of this EARLY - not close to kickoff.

 

SK did their normal warm ups. Scott did their Sr. night in the middle of field. They probably should have done it on the sideline. You can never make everyone happy.

Lloyd did the same thing at Harrison Co tonight.

SK was up 21-0 in the first quarter then it was 35-0 at halftime. SK 331 yards at halftime.

From listening online (which admittedly is not the same as seeing them in person) I think SK can beat Scott County should they meet. While CCH passing game is improving it's not where SK's is. Add in that CCH had no running game tonight and now Scott County has to worry about a two-pronged attack.

 

That will be a fun game should it come to fruition.

I was told the same that there was still a lot of time (i.e. over 10 minutes before kickoff).

 

If so then I'm not sure why SK felt the need to be loud. Yeah, I get it. You want to get your team ready but every coach wants that yet they all figure out a way to let the opponent's seniors and their family members have a few moments to be recognized.

Football like most sports is a game of routine. Why change your warmup because of another teams senior night? This is varsity high school football not peewee

Marksberry is clueless when it comes to respect for others. You only need to be around him for a few minutes to get that. He's even disrespectful to former SK players, unless they were one of his favorites.

 

But boy, don't let anyone show a speck of disrespect for him or his team. He'll blow a gasket.

 

I know many at SK don't like Steiner, but Marksberry sure could take some lessons in class from him.
