October 25, 201510 yr So Gallup just released finding saying the NRA favorbility rating is 58 and Hillary Clinton's is 42. Is it really sound political strategy for the Democrats to continue to attack an organzation that has a double digit favorbility rating advantage over them? To further my point on why liberals have lost this battle . In 1989 when Gallup first started researching the NRA favorbility rating it was a 53. So even after decades of attacking the NRA their popularity has only gun up.

October 25, 201510 yr I get called for polls ALL the time... I got one on Gun Control a year or so ago, he was a typical question. Would you be in favor of tighter gun controls if they would eliminate tragedies such as school shootings? Well, duh most people will answer that they would be. To the uninformed that sounds great and who's not against school shootings. That's how you get slanted poll results for the position that you want. I'm as pro gun as anyone on here and I would entertain the idea of some stronger restrictions, but I want to see what they are before giving a blanket approval for stricter gun control.
October 25, 201510 yr My point is same poll on same site says Americans have a more favorable opinion of the NRA while another poll says Americans favor stricter gun laws which would be contradictory to anything the NRA would support. These polls are so close and the questions are so vague I'm not sure we can put any stock in any of them.
