didn't ryle get to dance on the H in varsity this year??? I don't know if ryle has beatn H at H before this year??

 

Freshman did three years ago. Varsity this year thats it. You guys keep serve pretty well.

I know the Ryle freshman coaches are eager to get their hands on this group. They have performed at a really high level the last two years.

Question to Highlands fans whom may know, I'm curious to know if Huddelston will play Frosh ball again or will they move him up. Play Frosh and JV maybe?

 

Highlands has def played frosh up onto V and JV. but they always still play Frosh. Ive never heard of a freshman player "skipping" freshman football?

 

What is Ryle's feeder programs like? Does the same program feed boone, cooper etc?

I just think that with an entire half of football left to play it sends a bad message to your team. That you feel that at that early point you need a gimmick play for them to succeed. Just my opinion, I understand if you see it differently.

 

It is not like kicking it deep in Freshman football is going to pin anyone deep.

Yeah it's easy to talk trash when you Beat a 1/3 of the Fort Thomas Jr Football 8th grade players. Congrats, what are you guys like 1-1 against the FTJFL? A loss to the Blue(1/3) in 2014 and a pretty decisive win against the Black(1/3) in 2015. Why do I keep saying a 1/3? That's because it's exactly what it is. This year's Highlands Frosh team is a example of when you combine all the FTJFL 8th players and play as 1 team.

 

The same will happen next year with a pretty darn talented 8th grade class. Should be for some very good games and match ups in the coming years between HHS & Ryle but not a Dismantling like you are Assuming. Just ask Campbell how that worked out so far this year of using a Loaded 8th grade team and beating up on 7 FTJFL 8th graders in 2014. I think Campbell had the running clock on the FTJFL(Blue) in the 2nd quarter last year. Combine all of the 8th graders in the FTJFL and it's a different story. I suggest that you use the term Humbling for a while and enjoy you sons success. It may not last forever!

 

Short lived and I intend to enjoy it. Lighten up Francis. It's a team game and an individuals success is a culmination of the team's efforts. You should have put together your " all-star" team. Might have been a better game. Guess we have a year to wait to see the outcome.

The Union Raiders are only Ryle kids. That's our feeder program. We'll get a few more kids that come out of BCPWFL freshman year.

Who would be the second rival if not Ryle???? I know Highlands has played Holmes more than any other team but they're not really a rivalry. Does Ryle consider H a rival? I know their main rivals are Boone and Cooper.

I agree, I think he would benefit more by playing JV next year rather than playing freshman ball again.

When I was a senior Nick Behymer, Rob Smith and Mallone? were freshman and they all dressed for varsity. Mallone kicked off. Behymer was on kickoff and rob smith got in on D line. That is one year, I remember others as well. year before that brent grover and brian barre dressed and were on kickoff. before that adam Gramstad played rb for fresh and jv. and lorenzen dressed for varsity as a 3rd backup when we were freshman.
