There was a sequence at one point in the game where the desperate Giants forced the Eagles to punt , which would have given them a shot to make it a one score game, then ran into the kicker letting the Eagles continue their drive for a TD; Giants immediately go three and out once they get the ball back; Eagles get the ball, then on first down Bradford throws a 40-yard punt to two of the Giants' safeties with no receivers in sight; Giants get ball at midfield and do nothing. The Giants are currently missing their best DL, OL, LB, second best corner, and wide receiver. They're all relatively close to coming back. If they're close to being as good as they once were, the Giants could improve a lot.

The officials were terrible both ways last night and in no way cost the Giants the game, but that was a bad call.

Time to jinx the Eagles. The only consistent thing to come of the NFC East thus far has been the Eagles on defense. They've been solid throughout despite being thrown into some crap situations and playing the majority of every game.

It was simply difficult to watch.

 

I agree, that was a sad display of NFL Football.
