Cardinals really let me down in this one. I thought they might be the real deal in the NFC. Maybe they are and this is just a bad game.

You have to wonder.....Why in the world did Tomlin not go to Jones as soon as Ben went down? They lose this game if he hadn't made the switch. Vick might be the worst QB in the league. :lol2:

 

Steelers offense is legit when all parts are healthy.

I'd hold off on anointing them with much. Lost a probowl center who now had a setback that required another surgery and he may miss the whole season. Lost their starting left tackle yesterday for the season with an ACL. The O-line is not in terrific shape as we speak. The other parts are exceptional, but Ben's blind side will be protected by a guy who is a monster who served in Afghanistan for 2 tours, but far from a polished left tackle considering he made the switch from DE a year ago. Munchak will have his work cut out there.

 

As for the defense, it's so weak on the backside it's absurd. Shazier makes a difference, but is as fragile as the leg lamp. He's watched from the sideline more games than he's been able to contribute in his short career. Soft comes to mind. The Cards should have hung 30 on them yesterday. But to the Steelers credit, they did not. Donated 469 yards of offense but managed to hold them to 13 points, which is baffling. The Cardinals are a bit overrated in my opinion, and despite futurecoach's praise for him, I simply don't trust C.Palmer.

 

L.Bell did it again with 8 in the box, still managed 88yds rushing. He's silly. And not one pass to him, not one, and and that's simply handcuffing yourself.

 

And finally, kudos to them for finally finding a kicker who doesn't suck.

Well its hard for anyone to trust him when anytime his teams have done well he ends up having some injury at some point. The one thing with him its not like he has choked away big games. He usually gets hurt before or during the big games he has been in.

Man. I was actually thinking of putting a bet on them to win the Super Bowl today until I saw this post. They are better than Indy and Denver to me, and those two are pretty much locked in as the 4 seed and either the 1, 2 or 3.
