After Open's sanctions with the KHSAA, heard the superintendent resigned and then some how got his job back? Anyone have a any information on that?

 

Heard he got his job back after getting the sanctions reduced to only a one-week penalty.

One thing that I didn't mention is that imo this week off is coming at a very good point in the season for Raceland. Raceland is idle and this will give several "bumps, bruises and pulls ....Bothersome, minor injuries while Paintsville and the Eagles will be beating up on each other this Friday. Raceland will play the school in Westwood on the 16th and it will be the annual Senior tribute night, last regular season home game.

I am hoping that after a week, the Rams will come out refreshed and stronger / better than they have been all season and make the district championship run.

Game time decision. Said he's gonna try to throw this week and depending on what he can do Friday will determine if he plays. I think it's likely he suits up I know his family.

Yes, he did but from what I am hearing is that Open has a Fr. QB named Idle that is just as if not more capable. Besides ...an update on that hit that put the qb at Open out ... it was a cheap shot and the KHSAA has D.Q.'d Bye Week, the kid has no business on a football field.

Should have been pretty nice for Open's offense to finally hit some open targets....they've struggled all years in their offensive scheme.

Hey ram fans...little update on Lucasville Valley

 

Indians are now 6-0

Indians are ranked #5 in the D6 State AP Poll

Open has to be a very large school, with football fever that runs as high as Mt. Everest. How else can you explain their ability to be on mulitiple team's schedule, almost every week, all across the state. they must have 4000 kids in their program and live out of Bill Gates pocket book. They also have the unfair advantage of sending coaches, all over the state to scout. Bc each week, they must prepare for the following week, but you never see a single OHS shirt, hat, not even a glove. Its like they arent even there.

 

I just hope Raceland comes out stronger with this years battle. Last year it didnt even seem like the Rams took the field. But rumor has it, OHS has filed for another injunction over field conditions at Ram Stadium, stating they feel the game should be played somewhere within the Bernuda Triangle, I think they are just fearing the presence of the Ramland Commissioner and his never yielding support of all things Raceland!!!

 

In seriousness, i think this open week was perfectly placed. I have a feeling we are goina come out hot against Fairview and make a run at this thing some call a state title. Since we have never been there, im not sure it exists. Hearing some new wrinkles ate being developed offensively. I think the personel changes have been spot on, btw.
