Better rest up.........Paintsville wins this year.........highly motivated and more physical.

Paintsville may have the regular season advantage IMO because they have a bye week right before Raceland and a 2 week time period to prepare for their game against the Rams.

 

That could also be the reason why Raceland wins though, Raceland has played a good team every week on their schedule besides East and I believe it'll show because they know how to win in the second half. Most of Paintsville games are over first half.

Our schedule does prepare us for the district and for the playoffs. We don't play a 1A team all season except when it matters. So, losing to Ashland & Valley may hurt us in these subjective polls, it catapults us when it matters. Now, we just have to start winning semi's and get to the carpet. The big question remains, can we get past Paintsville...... I guess we will get a chance to see in a couple of weeks. Winning that will be huge because the loser will have to travel to the other in the playoffs.

Oldrambler has to be the commish, he was yelling instructions to us before many Ram Fans were alive. And in true political power, we were never right in what we were doing and good was never good enough. There were times the Rail Gang was yelling as us and we were in the huddle talking, "are we ever going to be good enough for those guys".

After days of searching, I have found game video of OPEN. It is quite revealing.

Well I'm rooting for the Rams each time! These Raceland players will be battle tested. They've suffered a tough late lost to Valley, and won some late games in Greenup and Lawrence. They know adversity. Also don't think the Raceland boys are too happy with what a Paintsville player said during the offseason and that game both teams will come in fired up.
