With all due respect you cant have every team in the 9th, some of the 10th, and some of the 8th respresented. The object is to give Juniors and senior recognition for a job well done. You cant do that in one night if you have the whole 9th region, and then include BB, Scott, CC, Walton, Silver Grove, etc etc etc... I mean think about it, with just the 9th region you have what 20 teams or so... that right there makes 40 players.... spolit them to 2 teams and you have a 20 man roster the way it is. You have to be logical. You cant include EVERY SINGLE N. Ky school.

Well then dont call it NKY, because it is not a true representation of the schools in NKy. You seem quick to get rid of Simon Kenton,Schott, cambell County and others.Lets just call it what is : 9th region all star game.

 

And I agree with you, but some of these juniors and senoirs that you want to acknowledge, live next door to you. And I mean ,next door,as in your neighbors. These regions IMO, are screwed up.

Hey CAT, I know for a fact that he led the team in Tackles his Junior Season I'm looking at the final Stats right now. Great Job Matthew!!

I'm not trying to put Matt down but Head Director you said the last 2 years that isn't completely true and you also said receiving which wasn't true either of the years.

So is there a roster limit for this All-Star game? Sounds as if they have more players than the Statewide East-West All-Stars. When you dilute the system it kind of takes away from the glamour of the game. Sounds kind of like, "Well my kid didn't make the all-star team, so I will pick up my own all-star team". Not all kids and not all high school players are all-stars.

I do't think that they are naming nominees, I think they are relaying who their coaches nominated. And if it makes everyone feel better, we should refer to it as the 9th region all star game.

Maybe it should be the East-West Northern Ky All Star game since several of the schools are now in the tenth region.
