Do I have to complete it to my team? Otherwise, as soon as the ball is snapped, I chunk it up in the air and hit the ground.

I bet I could. But I'd have to throw to Calvin Johnson or Aj Green or just one of the receivers that can cover a ton of ground. Those guys are good enough to make my shaky spiral look like a great pass.
