I was saying that I did not think they had the TEAM and the talent to contend for the Regional title yet but I thought they would in the coming years. My comment was basically saying that I misjudged them and HHS appears ready to contend sooner than I anticipated.

It's amazing..... all that is ever mentioned regardless of wins or loses is; the haters, the Coach, and "The Issue". If I'm not correct, everybody that matters {H.H.S. School Officials} performed all necessary due-diligence, as it relates to investigating "The Issue". Apparently, they {H.H.S. Officials} were satisfied with the results of their findings. That said, why can't "the haters" let it go, since most of "the haters" don't even have kids in the system anymore, and weren't privy to the facts, or not, that was discovered, or not. My goodness, this Coaching Staff is changing the mentality of this program, from years of mediocrity. For all of this change, the only thing that is consistently brought-up on this thread is; "the haters, the Coach, and the Issue". What about the kids ? I have an idea, why don't "the haters" band together, and start their own blog..... they can call it; "We I Don't Like Anything That Happens, Unless We Say It's OK, When We Say It's OK". Move on people, neither the Coaches, or the Girls care what you think, or what you have to so ! THEY are the ones putting in all the hard work & effort. Stinks doesn't it. Have a drink, or two tonight, and take a deep breath. Tomorrow is a new day.

 

So why do you create a long post to bring it up yet again if you want to let it drop and move on? From what I am told, this was the best 'team' effort all year whatever that is supposed to mean. Good win for the girls and certainly something to build on going forward.

Was Highlands not a regional finalist just 2 short years ago and a regional semi-finalist last year?

Sorry I missed this game, no idea it was Senior Day:ohbrother:. As for the aforementioned drama, please give me a break. A mid season win, the true battles are yet to come.

I am simply talking about this years squad, as in the 2015 season. I really do not know what they have done prior to this season and it really does not matter to me, my comments were based solely on what I currently see at HHS this season and how well I thought they might do in the coming years. To put it in more simple terms for you.... I did not think this seasons squad was playing well enough to be one of the contenders for the Regional title, I thought they might be able to do so over the next few seasons, yesterday's result makes it look like they are putting it together quicker than I thought.

 

I have no idea what issues you have with previous years, or people, but it seems to keep you from looking at the comments of others objectively or just taking them at face value, I am not sure why you feel the need to constantly twist what others say or try to make it about something it is not.

I took your comment as if they have not been there before. Under the current format, they are going to be "players" in the regional tourney along with NCC. Their district consists of them, NCC and Dayton and Bellevue when they have teams. Why don't you quit trying to twist things around. I was just stating a "fact" that apparently you did not know according to your post.

Congrats to the Birds on their victory.

This makes the upcoming NCC game huge for NDA. Post season should be a lot of fun this year!

Congrats to HHS for a big win, I congratulate the coaches as well I am sure they hear a lot of stuff being said or maybe they don't who knows and if they do good job by them to get these girls ready to play to me that's the sign of a good coach. When you have adversity and you can keep the girls focused and ready to play your doing well.

Just think how good they can be once they start playing the older and better girls. :sssh:
