It makes me LOL at the fact you Guys don't put Murphy on your top coaches list, yes I may be a bit of a homer but how is the guy not a great coach he took his small school team to state and won the whole thing! As far as talent gathering it cracks me up that because very good talented girls decided to join the Holy Cross club that you guys think they are cheating and recruiting. All these girls want to do is win so of coarse when a coach or team has success then other girls want to join in and be apart of it.

Like I said, when you have a set of 6'2" athletic twins, a very nice PG and a an All-state D1 player and and very nice little 2 guard transfer in, what part of that makes him a great coach? All the tools landed in his hand! Did the two that transferred in two years ago come because of the "winning program and coach???" Because I think they were very mediocre till last year! And now all of a sudden you have entire AAU teams transferring in to play at HC??? C'mon man! We know what's going on. Honestly, I don't really care because it happens all over the place. RCC9, it is happening at other schools but not at the rate its happening there I get athletes transferring for different reasons and not all because of sports but we you offer half tuition off so they come and play for you, something seriously wrong with that.

Before girls decided to go/transfer to Holy Cross they were not winning anything, and now you have a whole AAU team coming and these girls are from all over so please tell me how that happens because some are from Ft. Thomas school system and if I'm mistaken HHS has a pretty good program.

You mean to tell me coach Fookes never had D1 players transfer to Boone county you mean to tell me coach Ritchey hasn't had transfers come in? The game has change drastically and girls are wanted to transfer to play with aau teammates and have a chance to win state just so happens Holy cross benefited from that last year and other girls noticed that and want to be apart of that same winning way. My list would have Murphy Stoll and a tie between Ritchey and Foust simply because of the talent they have both had and not been able to coach that talent to win state simply my opinion as to why they are tied. Stoll because the guy wins with whatever he has on his roster this year will be a big mountain for him to clinb and will truly see how good of a coach he is!

You may be right for now...but I was told by a source (pretty close to you) that two of them enrolled over the summer. Is that not true? And that doesn't mean there aren't more coming right?

I'll remove the word "very" if you'd like.

 

Interesting that you only go back three years to quote their record. The years of the twins! But go back and look at the records "pre-twins". Having 6'2" twins definitely helped the cause over the last three years. So I'll stick with my opinion.

 

And you brought up HHS. I never said anything about my opinion on them. You are making assumptions.

 

As for the kids that came in, I don't care. You won it. I congratulated all of them and said what an amazing run it was and was very excited for the kids. But your never gonna convince me that they just showed up there. Lucky HC. I know how it works. I admitted that it happens all over the place these day. You're right, times have changed and it appears to be more widely accepted. Some of your own Indians weren't happy about it either! I don't make it up. You say I'm a critic of HC. Had you even heard of me before two years ago?? Had I ever said anything negative at all about HC? I didn't care one bit about their program. Wonder what changed my mind?? You can blow me up and try to discredit me all you want. There is a reason I speak out.

I would be willing to bet they are not paying full tuition. I know for a fact that some girls are being offered half tuition to go to HC and that came from some of the horses mouth. I agree with RCC9 HC had an amazing your last year, made a great run and I am happy for those girls but without the D1 transfer to they win it or much less get out of the region, just saying.
