September 17, 201511 yr One of the starting D Lineman lives in Hebron, Conner's district. His little brother is in 7th grade and attends school in Ft. Thomas and plays football in the BCPWFL. So....what's your point? That it's a long way to travel to go to School? There was a girl back when I went to school that lived off the Petersburg Exit past Hebron that drove everyday to Ft Thomas. She played Volleyball and graduated the top of her Class. People will do strang things to provide the very best for their Children. To each their own I guess!
September 17, 201511 yr Certain classes are open. I think the 7 grade class is on Lockdown. There is over 300 students in that grade alone. Wowza! Lets just say for example that there is a 150 boys in that class. Only 35 of them came out for Junior Football this year. It hit us pretty hard this year in the FTJFL with the lack of Participation from that Class alone. Hopefully they come back out next year..... #SCIT I thought I had the "plus sign" checked when quoting multiple post, obviously not. Your post was part of what I was replying to... I was giving an example of why the turn out numbers might not be as high for the FTJFL. So....what's your point? That it's a long way to travel to go to School? September 17, 201511 yr Housing prices are relative. If you want to live in NKY you'll pay extra in some neighborhoods - as you already know. This happened at Beechwood too. Smaller school though, and the cheaters are usually caught quickly. Years ago, a rather wealthy attorney living out of district, gave his in district parents "educational guardianship" of his children and they attended Beechwood for free, but lived out of district. It was actually a legit loophole at the time. Fortunately, the school closed that loophole. There have been several cases of people using false addresses, but someone will usually turn them in, especially if the cheaters kid makes a team that the in district parent's kid did not. How are they allowed to ignore educational guardianship?

September 18, 201510 yr How are they allowed to ignore educational guardianship? I don't know the details. It was several years ago. I know that the school looked into it and the family moved in district the next year. I know people at the time said they didn't get away with the guardianship thing. Could have been misinformed though and believed it all this time. What is the purpose of educational guardianship? If it is easy to do, why aren't more people doing it?
