Glad I stayed with this one to the end. Hail Mary on game's last play succeeds by a few inches. Ironic that Nebraska beat NW last year on similar play.

I have said it before but I will say it again. When you rush a few and drop many you allow the QB to get off a throw that can reach the endzone.

 

Why not rush 5 and drop 6 back to the five yard line and endzone? He probably never even gets off a throw that can reach the endzone. The only way he could throw it that far was too literally fling it as far as he could with no rush whatsoever.
