The entire 34th District Tournament was a huge upset. Villa who has never won a single District game, much less the District Championship, wins the show while, Ludlow and Dixie go home.

 

34th District was seeded

Clay County defeated North Laurel when the Jags had swept the Tigers in the regular season. That was a big surprise to me.

I believe all of these losses were opening round games and these teams are out of it. That's 30% of the top 20.

Clay County defeated North Laurel when the Jags had swept the Tigers in the regular season. That was a big surprise to me.

I was going to mention that one. I knew the Tigers would have a chance with White taking the hill. I didn't think they would win that easy. I guess Coach Burchell was just holding back. HaHa. Another loss that suprised me was Whitley over Corbin. Didn't suprise me that Whitley won, just that they beat Corbin that easy.
