St Henry starts out slow on a hot evening trailing 0 1 but score 2 before half to take the lead. They go up 3 1 early in the second half but BB scores to make it 3 2 before SH scores a late one to win 4 2. St Henry looks like a real challenger to MND for the 9th region crow .

I would've gone with St. Ursula or Ursuline Academy for an Ohio school winning the Kentucky 9th Region.

....

My bad I'm an Ohio guy.

Was this a physical game?

Not really,no cards and a few fouls by both teams. Crowd and coachs were well behaved.

Well... what's the fun in that. :taz:

Yeah I know... a good soccer match and no drama. Go ahead and close this thread

Looks like the new formation St H is playing is showing early dividends. Scoring from KHSAA fior St H:

Scoring

Auteri, Sydney 1 goal

Litzler, Jodi 2 goals

Maher, Ally 1 goal

Assists

Felix, Kristina 1

Lady Stangs stats not listed on the site.

....

I suppose I should know this, but are Jodi Litzler and Jacob Litzler at CovCath brother and sister? If she played for NDA I'd just assume it, but being at SHDHS, I thought it was worth asking.

I think cousins

They are cousins. The reason the fans were well behaved was because after the issues during the Brossart and Campbell game they had marked on the sideline which side each schools fans needed to sit on.

In my short time in the high school game, I have seen that this is weirdly an issue.

Actually, those were there Saturday. Dont think we need to make too big of a deal out of the BBHS and CCHS game...just a good rivalry.

I'm not making a big deal out of it. I just think it's funny that it has to be done because some fans/parents act like they're in grade school at a high school sport. I know St Henry and NDA are a good rivalry but in all my years i have never seen or heard those fans/parents act the way that was said about the BBHS vs Campbell game.
