Just another reason to get after him if he meets up with the Rocks this season. He stated that he feels certain UVA's coach will remain "throughout his career there". He didn;t feel confident Coach Petrino was going to be around U of L for four or five more years.

Why would anyone take his statement as a negative?

#1 it presumes petrino is such a good coach that he'll get a better offer

#2 He's 100% absolutely correct:thumb:

Grohh is practically certain to be there & insure this young mans continued support/coaching while petrino, uh not so much

How big is this kid? Power or or shifty?

Chase Minnifieds dad Frank, played for Henry Clay, and then went on to play for UofL, and he also put in about 10years of pro football with the browns. Frank Minnified days at Henry Clay were great just ask Jake Bell Franks high school coach at HC, he would back my words that Frank had alot of speed and quickness. And right it looks like Chase has pretty much inherited all of his dads speed and quickness. Good luck chase, see ya, in the playoffs this year.

My guess is "Minnie" will attend UVA for a season or two. Then he'll return to the Commonwealth to complete his eligibility. Homesickness , etc. may play a huge role in this.

Good genes for the boy, his father was a very good player.

Man....I wish he was going to be a Cardinal but when you compare UVA's academics to U of L's there is no real comparison.

Congrats to Minnifield......He is an excellent ballplayer.

I heard that Chase is going to play some quarterback this year for the blue devils.

must be for academics

Hate that he won't follow in his daddy's footsteps, but UVA is getting one heckuva playmaker.
