I watched some video of Foos from the Ensworh game . He really looked good. Big kid who gets after it. He will be lining up against Bryce Matthews the Ole Miss commitment. Should be fun to watch

* Trinity was dominant in last week’s opener, whipping Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth 45-0. Senior Jailen Reed was stellar in his debut as the starting running back, rushing for 85 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half. The defense allowed just 113 total yards and forced six turnovers. Defensive back Rodjay Burns, a University of Louisville commit, had an interception.

 

* Brentwood Academy opened its season last week with a 48-6 whipping of Olive Branch (Miss.). The Eagles feature three linemen who have committed to Southeastern Conference schools – Bryce Mathews (Mississippi), Ryan Johnson (Tennessee) and Brandon Adams (Vanderbilt). Trinity is ranked No. 51 in the NationalHSFootball.com Top 100. Brentwood Academy is No. 79.

Another big turnout for the Father/Son Hooters gathering...even if it wasn't planned this week and we can't so no to the Senior Rocks.

 

Big thanks to all the Shamrock parents that started the tradition 17-18 years ago. Awesome time bonding with the Dad's and Senior players. I'll cherish the memories. Great group of guys!
