Starting the journey to defend their 2014 State Championship, Pulaski County will play Jeffersonville Indiana. Will the Maroons have what it takes to start the season off with a win?

Unfortunately for Pulaski County, 5A is much better this year because of redistricting. I like them against Jeffersonville by 10 points. They should roll until the playoffs. Having to potentially beat Highlands and Bowling Green two weeks in a row is a tough road for any team in the bluegrass.

Jeffersonville was 8-2

Ended 9th in 6A AP Poll and 13th in 6A Coaches Poll. (Much lower in final Sagarin rankings)

3rd highest scoring team in 6A last season but with conference set up only played 2 or 3 6A schools most were conference schools much smaller.

New coach this season.

Max Preps Preseason Ranking-- Pulaski (547) Jeffersonville (2626)

Pulaski County should win comfortably. Jeffersonville was likely ranked based on record only, as opposed to any quality wins. 6a in southern Indiana is extremely weak right now...so even the wins they had against larger schools were not against great opposition.

Pulaski nation has been totally silent about the scrimmage results vs Mad Central. Leads me to believe something went wrong or they would be thumping their chest.

Could be because it was a Scrimmage and in the grand scheme means nothing. What is there to beat their chest about if they beat Mad Central, they should beat Mad Central.
