Should be interim. Oops:sssh:

Glad to see that he's going to be able to stay close to home... Good luck Coach Hall and Good Luck to Jackson City

I dont think Jackson City will be down this year they return two starters from last years team and arguably the best 6th man i the region last year. They also return two guys that also played alot of minutes off the bench. They will have 4 to 5 seniors next year and 4 to 5 juniors that can all play and they wont be taken lightly in the reigon anymore.

Just heard that Hall turned down the JCS coaching job.

Just heard that Hall turned down the JCS coaching job.

Doubt that.

well from what ive heard the only reason that coach hall was named just and interim coach is the super was only aloud to give him 2 weeks untill the site base board could approve it, so imo coach hall is at jackson and i hope so!

I guess its' all rumors....but I did hear from a pretty reliable source that Hall did not take the job as of yesterday.

If Hall applied elsewhere maybe he got a call? Hall was coach of the year a couple of years ago, right?

His first year at Breathitt I think.

administrator at Onieda Baptist Institute, I believe.

Ed is now at Eastern Ky University in the graduate department!! Don't ask me how this happened? Look on EKU's graduate webpage!!!!!:irked:

I only saw Jackson City one time, whatever happened to Ed"Doc" Lowdenback?

My lasting impression of Lowdenback was his running up the score on a poor, defensely team who only had 6 players, and one of them was playing hurt. This happened when he coached at Jackson City in the mid-'90s. One of the players on that team told me that the coach ordered his players to score as many as possible and set the state record. I'd have to look up the final score, but it was something like 200+ points to the other teams 40 or 50 points. IMO there's no excuse in doing another team that way.

That's a sad chapter in the school's history. I think it was 215 against some private school that was putting 6th graders on the floor. Some of the Jackson players took their jerseys off in protest and went and sat on the opposing team's bench.

Lowdenback was looking for glory and got ridicule and shame instead. It should not have happened.

Coach Hall is staying the coach at Jackson and i think with the nucleus they are brigning back they will be a contender in the region.:ylsuper: :ylsuper:

Coach Hall should do well no matter where he is coaching. He is a bright coach and IMO Breathitt has lost out. Good Luck to him wherever he lands.

He used to coach here at Deming after Gary McKinney left, and then Coach Joe Bane came in.
