That was headline news stuff! I also explained that Ferguson was a JV game compared to the "varsity" in LA when the King verdict was announced. I always think of Reginald Denny when I think of the LA riots. It seemed like the riots went on for weeks.

August 22, 201511 yr Just got home from seeing the movie with my wife, we both really liked the movie. From a movie standpoint I think it was very well done. Comparing it to a couple of other Musical Biopics we both liked this better than "Ray" or "Walk the line"

August 24, 201511 yr Have not watched it yet, but saw a title for an ESPN 30 for 30 on Netflix called "Straight Outta LA" with Ice Cube discussing connections between Compton rappers and the LA Raiders. Looks awesome.
