Ah.. I missed the boat on that one.

I believe no one knew how old he was until he passed away. He never would reveal his true age.

Looks like the sequel is already in the works. Dogg Pound 4 Life is the rumored name. It will show the stories of Snoop, Tupac, Dr. Dre, Tha Dogg Pound and Suge Knight at Death Row.

Must. See.

I read it cost $29M to make the movie. It has made over $130M thus far.

Ice Cube is that man.

Theater in E-Town decided nobody needed to see this.

Not that this should be a surprise or anything.

Agreed. I loved Straight Out of Compton and how accurate it was in telling the backstory on a lot of these guys (even after the NWA days). Glad to see it was in preparation for a sequel.

The history of Death Row Records is perhaps more fascinating than the story of NWA. Lot of stories to be told on that one.

Saw this movie last weekend and really enjoyed it. I had no prior knowledge of it, but you could tell from how it ended a Death Row sequel was likely in the works. I loved the guy who played Snoop - he should be a fun character going forward!

Just as long as the story of Suge Knight's shakedown of Vanilla Ice is included.

Indeed! I'm just glad the told the story about roughing up Easy E in the NWA film.

Death Row Records supposedly had a torture room and everything at its headquarters.

Mmm hmm. Yes, I totally believe that. Nothing anybody could say about Suge Knight would really surprise me anymore. Really doesn't matter how outlandish we're talking, either.

Box office has gone over $150M.

Finally got around to renting it the other day. I felt like I was 18 again.

I got a copy awhile back and let someone borrow it and have not got it back yet.
