What age group?

"...did you say, Utes?"

Here is the link to their version of the BGSG if you are interested. Utah Summer Games

Heard that the bluegrass was cancelled and even the 800 only referred to a recording. Heard lots of rumors about why, but anyone know anything?

Heard the fields were flooded

Fields were 100% not flooded. We had an 8:00 game on Saturday, we were all there and warming up, as were our opponents, and the field was certainly playable. They did have a big storm on Friday night, and I'm sure the ground couldn't take much more, but I think the decision was a little shaky. Especially given the late notice, the teams that had driven in from a long way away were really salty. Understandably.

The one part of the park that was a MESS was the parking across from the 4H Fair, and they were opening the fair again on Saturday.

Youth divisions will try it again on August 1st and 2nd.

The wet fields would have been a nice change from all those scorching days I remember of Bluegrass. Stinks for the kids that it was cancelled.

Stinks for the parents from out of town who purchased hotels the night before. There were many upset people. Some teams were on the fields warming up for 30 minutes, then told their games were cancelled.

We were there for an 8:00 game and were told they wanted to make sure the fields were in good shape for the high school tournament next week. My sons field was also in good shape and teams were warming up. Luckily we came down that morning and didn't waste the money on a hotel. what a joke.

I can confirm that the fields were dry this past weekend.... and it was rather warm when the breeze was non-existent.

At Masterson, the fields were actually in pretty good shape, I have seen them much worse.

Games / Tourney moved from Masterson to Woodford Co Soccer complex in Versailles. I have never been there.
