Was Vada Pinson a Gold Glove outfielder? Did he play mostly CF?

I'm not sure why some of these guys are getting picked over Dunn.

Ive seen Ryan Freel listed who is the least deserving popular Red of all Time, while Dunn is the opposite. The most under appreciated Red of all time.

Pinson won one or two gold gloves. He was a good combination of speed and power. I believe he hit close to 300 for his Reds career with nice extra base totals. Probably only averaged half of Dunn's HR numbers but in BA, 2B,3B and SB stats he was ahead. Good solid runs and rbi totals also. Seems like he had a good number of leg problems after his first 4-5 years with the Reds and I believe he only played about ten seasons with them.

Dunn's OPS is nearly 100 points higher. Averages more RBIs, BBs, basically the same in runs.

Offensively sounds pretty close. Speed and defense would favor Pinson. At least in my mind.

Very solid. But compare the numbers. BP, for sure.

I think it's a tough comparison when you see the two completely different eras of McPhee and Philips. I'm impressed that McPhee played without a glove. Its really close though. When I started to think about it, I noticed that BP has the offensive advantage, so he may have an upper hand.
