July 7, 201511 yr A handful of folks have been saying that for years. Americans can't handle the low scoring boring games. And yet they watch baseball. I watch baseball. Nah. To me, it's a matter of what's ingrained in the culture. Soccer will never dominate the American sporting landscape like it does overseas, but the popularity grows constantly and there are enough eyeballs and enough deep pockets here to carve out space for just about anything.
