June 17, 201511 yr Author Brossart They came out in less than an hour to give an estimate. He stated he had to check the schedule and would call me to let me know what time he could come out on Tuesday to do the work. Yep, still waiting for that call. I left two messages and no one returned the call. Not a good business practice. I'll try the Partin Service recommended by CWB.

The bid was under what I expected it to be. I was ready to pay right there on the spot. Maybe that's why he didn't call back, he knew he under bid the job.

I had an entire tree taken down a few years ago. Guy gave me an estimate which was way more than I was prepared to pay. He was doing a job nearby and came by two or three times dropping the price a little each time. Finally a few weeks later when he had no other work he ended up doing my job for about half of his original bid. If you can get them when business is slow, it might save you quite a bit of money.
