West Jessamine 15 Scott 4 (Rawlings/KHSAA State Baseball Tournament)

Featured Replies

Incredible run by West Jessamine this year. They don't have that one star or one ace on their team, but they're extremely well-rounded and play great defense. Can't pitch around anyone on their roster when they're hitting this well - and that's scary.

Going to be one heck of a game tomorrow night.

Tough way to go out, but a heck of a run by the Eagles.

Yep. They had as good a run as anyone in the state. Two big wins over big time pitchers in RD1 and RD2 of the state tournament. Only gave up 1 run in the first two rounds. Fought back in the first inning after giving up 2 quick runs against WJ. They just made a couple uncharacteristic mistakes and WJ capitalized big time. Sometimes that happens in baseball. Wish it could have ended better, but still, a great year for Scott. They will likely be a favorite to win the Region next year, as they return their top three hitters and pitchers.

Also, Scott High reached 3 final fours this year....Baseball, Soccer (made finals) and Volleyball.

Congratulations to the Scott Eagles on a great season!

Great season Scott Eagles. You finished strong and sometimes bad games happen. Congrats!
