Ram Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 What does Franklin County need to do to improve in 2015? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.
StudRB Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 What does Franklin County's schedule look like for next year?
blueandblack14 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 What does Franklin County's schedule look like for next year? Their district games will be (in alphabetical order): Collins North Oldham Shelby County Spencer County
FLYGUY Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Out of distrcit games are as follows: Western Hills, Frankfort, CAL, Shelby Valley, Woodford, Anderson CO.
FC Flyer Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Franklin County has all of their skilled positions returning for 2015 and allot of speed returning. They lost some key lineman but should be solid by the time the season comes around. I like the move to 4A this season and I look for them to do well in their district play as well. There are some holes to fill on the defensive side of the football this season. With the loss of Duke (MLB), Goins (DE), Holleran (NG) and Marshall (LB) the Flyers will need some players to grow up fast to get ready to play! I look for Landon Hurst to have a breakout year on both sides of the football and Demarcus Kennedy has the ability to take over at OLB and at WR. I am real excited about this group of Flyers!
FLYGUY Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Flyers have some promise, have some very nice players at the skill positions, but not sure what they have coming back on the line, or defensive interior I dont see the depth they have had in previous years there. Flyer fans are still waiting for Sanderson to break out at QB and really take over some games, This team had a great year last year but had trouble turning the ball over in their losses. Defense as always will be the question, last year the D was a strength but is appears from watching practice that there are no clear roles of the new guys, except at DB which is pretty good talent wise. Long summer of work for this group if they want to knock of collins and finally get out of the region.
FC Flyer Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Franklin County Flyers 2015 opponents Shelby Valley Western Hills Frankfort High Woodford County Anderson County Collins North Oldham Shelby Spencer CAL
KingOfClutch33 Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Franklin County has to be happy that they wont be seeing Cooper in the playoffs anymore. Totally kidding Flyer fans. Franklin had a very good team last year and the QB RB combo should allow them to score with anyone in 4A. The key is, like already mentioned, will they be able to stop some of the better offenses they will see? Good luck this year from this Cooper Jaguar fan! Over the last four years I have grown fond of Franklin County and traveling there to play has been fun, I wish them nothing but the best
FLYGUY Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Cooper always a tough out. Last year flyers gave the game to them, but we see them as a classy well coached team.
FC Flyer Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I agree Cooper does a great job coaching there kids. I look for them to be pretty good this year as well. It should be interesting in district play this year. Collins, North Oldham, Shelby and Spencer County. How do you think we will fair in the district vs. the new competition?

From an outsider point of view and admitting I know nothing about Spencer County so no disrespect to them, but that is a pretty challenging district. Collins and North Oldham will both be solid, I could see Franklin finishing anywhere from 1st - 3rd

Collins and North Oldham will both be solid, I could see Franklin finishing anywhere from 1st - 3rd Very balanced district that will be wide open. I have no idea who would be considered the favorite, Collins and Spencer return the most starters.
FC Flyer Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 The future is looking great at Franklin County! I watched the incoming Freshmen class practice and they look very good! Great size and athletic ability on the O-Line and the running backs and receivers look really athletic. I look forward to seeing this group play together in a few years on Friday nights.
oldonetechnique Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Drove by tonight, Flyers have work to do if they want to win this district.
groundattack Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I believe that Shelby and North Oldham graduated a lot but their coaches will always be developing talent. Collins and Spencer have most of their starters returning. Franklin is the wild card, not sure what they have. Excited to see how it all plays out.
