What does Fairview need to do to improve in 2015? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

I believe that the Eagles will be much improved from the 2014 season. The Eagles will be strong at the QB position and their kids seem to enjoy playing in their offensive system, they could be a team that puts a lot of points up on the board.

With District 7 now with only 3 teams, I honestly believe that team in Westwood will be right there with Paintsville and Raceland fighting it out for the district title. 2015 should be a very competitive district and I wouldn't be shocked if any one of the 3 teams won the district and gained the #1 seed for the playoffs.

 

I hope that the Eagles ( and all teams) go through this season injury free.

Roy is gonna be in his senior year correct? He's fun to watch at QB. Is the Washington kid still going to play? Loved watching him as well. Roy can fling the ball though, has he got an offer to play anywhere? and I wouldn't be surprised if the boys from Westwood get wins over one of Raceland or Paintsville this year to create some controversy in the district.

 

I just can see the kids going hard and working with a chip on their shoulder and playing like it as well. Anybody know what the schedule is officially?

 

Edit: I looked up that Roy has received some interest from Ohio State and West Virginia.

I certainly agree Doc. I look for the Eagles to be a very legitimate threat for the district championship. This 2015 district will be a wild one, very tough.

Fairview should be decent this year, I don't see them beating Raceland or paintsville though. After this season will be rough sailing, didn't have a MS football team last year and hearing not enough interest this year. This occurred before and football was dropped in the 90's. Fred ray better get some interest in the younger kids, or he be looking for another job. Good luck to all teams in the district.

Tough stretch to end the season from 9-25 to 10-30.

That's a tough schedule, I'm guessing 5-5, maybe 6-4.

Definitely a much tougher schedule, my guess would be 5-5 or 4-6. As long as we are doing things in the right way, and hopefully they now are, then I am with the Eagles.

That's a tough row to hoe throughout. 1st 4 could be 4-0 or 0-4, but probably a split somewhere in between. Last 6......could be very difficult.
