Just Jim Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 As a Cyclone alum, I wish he would stay at ISU. He has it made right now. Hometown, support, etc. Hope it works out for him.
NEERFAN Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 If it doesn't work out he could always go back home. Hopefully his health is up to par.
All State Baseball Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 Andy Katz reported yesterday that a 5 year deal is "all but complete". Hoidberg is expected to meet with Bulls front office on Monday (tomorrow) and are expected to complete the deal. Barring any late negotiations break down, Fred Hoiberg will be the next Chicago Bulls head coach. Fred Hoiberg working on 5-year deal with Chicago Bulls I just hope and pray that this isn't another Scott Skiles move...
All State Baseball Posted June 1, 2015 Author Posted June 1, 2015 Gary Parrish is reporting that Hoiberg is in Chicago finalizing a deal to make him the next head coach of the Bulls. Parrish says an announcement could come as early as tomorrow
NKY Bandit Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I like Fred but his medical issues would have me concerned. He'll definitely have a less confrontational style than Thibs.
LionEagle Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Coach Hoiberg will bring a much more offensively-focused gameplan to the table as compared to Coach Thibs who was all defense.
John Anthony Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Making only a few less than coach Cal per year to coach pro.
