May 28, 201511 yr Anyone else use the app Untappd? It's a way for you to keep track of the different beers that you've tried, rate them, keep track how many times you've had them and things like that. There's several other things you can do too but I mainly like to keep track of the different beers I've tried now that I'm exploring craft beer and some of Greater Cincy's breweries more often. Started using the app the Opening Weekend of March Madness, tried 79 different beers since (several are just from flights).
May 28, 201511 yr I've been using it for almost two years. Since that time I have had 629 different beers. I think it is really useful when you travel as you can easily find what local beers are available in the area and what others think of them before you try them. What I have found is that it really has broadend my knowledge of what beers are out there and as I result I have expanded my taste for beers beyond the basic lagers that are so prevelant. I'd never had an IPA before using this app, and now am quite fond of them.

The other day my girlfriend joked that she thought I drank the same old boring beers all the time. Pulled out my phone and showed her the app and the different beers I've had since using it. Conversation was over haha!

June 11, 201511 yr Author Was in NY for a business conference, added 25 new beers to my list throughout the trip (very social conference haha). Now up to 131 distinct beers. My additions will probably slow some now but I highly recommend using this app if you like trying different beers. If anyone wants to be friends on there: PikeParker24
