BGP Musicians and their Music

Featured Replies

And that's EXACTLY who I was going to say, the beat and the general sound production sounds something like an earlier Beetles influence, especially in the "end of the line" song.

Beetles. I never fail to get a smile when I see this. :D

I say this not as a joke but...

I do a pretty good job doing the hambone. I used to be able to sing a bit.

If you're not familiar.....

That was ok at first but then it got annoying. Answers the question I was about to ask though so thank you.

It is annoying if it goes on too long. I usually add some lyrics for a short ditty. After that it's too much.

I've met several people on here who are also musicians and I thought why not have a thread so they can post their music for others to listen to and hopefully enjoy. I know I've heard some of Deuce's music and really have become a big fan. We also can't forget former member who hit it big time with the band Sundy Best.

So why not ask the musicians among the BGP family to post some of their music whether it be original or cover songs. I'm sure there is a vast range of styles and tastes among us all.

HB... other than loading a tune to Youtube as you have done, and then posting the link here, are you aware if there's a way to simply load a music file directly from one's computer?

I've successfully posted photos from my computer in the past, but I'm not having any luck with music files.

Although I'm a bit shy and apprehensive about posting any of my tunes, I'm even more so hesitant about loading any to Youtube where they'll possibly be heard by a wider audience.

Although I'll at times sit at home and mess around with writing tunes, I've rarely bit the bullet enough to get the nerve to share them. I'm tempted to let down my guard, but was wondering if you or anyone else knew of some of the various ways to load a music file here?

Pollywentacourtingshedidride, hambone …

There's a Tom and Jerry cartoon there somewhere. I just need my guitar strings.

In the movie House Party, the Grand Funkateer George Clinton had a great line that goes, "Two tears in a bucket, (blankety blank-blank)." You should first Google that line, then adopt that philosophy.

I wish I did, ther are some other songs I really like that another band I was in did, but I don't know anyway except to put it on youtube and post it here.

I used to be very good at trombone, tuba, baritone and ok at guitar with a few piano skills. Now I am pretty good with the radio.

I am totally, musically illiterate, but am impressed with what I hear in the thread.
