Played for Scott a couple years ago very aggressive and fast and competitive. 5'11 185. Played wide receiver and safety. His family moved to kansas and he just moved back and will play for the Eagles this year. He should be a senior this upcoming season. Good addition. The Eagles also got the youngman from Sk transfer and he has been fully released to play for Scott this year. He is fast and has good hands . Plays wide receiver and Corner back.

So as far as making adjustments, or fresh legs in the secondary this season ? It should not be an issue . I know Coach Simpson has his work cut out for himself and may the most aggressive and talented one shine !! It is a good thing when you have a good amount of athletes showing up !! We definitely could use them !!! Should be interesting !!

Seen Ohmer play very well at wide reciever and at saftey his younger years and At Froshmore level. He definitely would fit in somewhere in the mix .

That is very unfortunate. He is a good athlete. I know a few of the guys have been encouraging him to come back this year. As of last week he still was undecided . Thanks for the insight. He will be missed.

I would be thrilled to see him play....but I would also be shocked if he played football. Some of the other names that were mentioned in another thread are even longer shots at playing. It's great to see folks excited about Scott....but we need to ease up on the state championship talk and putting expectations on kids who either haven't yet experienced success or are just beginning to experience success. Let's remember where this program was at 5 years ago....and the progress has been great, and I'm thrilled as to where they currently are. But it's a big jump from a team that's gone 6-4 6-5 with zero playoff wins, to a state championship team. Is it possible?? Absolutely. But let's save the talking for when the season starts, because right now, it's too early to start the level of speculating that has been going on over the last several weeks.

It wasn't a shot at anybody. I have no idea who you are, although it sounds like you know me. It was only a statement that, while I enjoy the banter, and enjoy the fact that Scott is getting a little spotlight, we need still need to be mindful that this is still basically a young program that has really only experienced a few years of success. And that realistically, it is a huge jump from even the last two years, to contending for a state title. Do I believe that can?? Absolutely. And with the returning talent they have, I think the chances are good. But you gotta walk before you run, and even winning a playoff game or two would be a significant stride forward. And we can talk, and hype all we want, but it's gotta show up on the field. I believe in being realistic. Let's have fun, but let's let our play do the talking.

Read the Scott/Cooper prediction page from 2014 if you need a little perspective. It's great to be optimistic, but then reality comes a callin'.......I think that same call is coming for the Eagles in 2015. You are making progress and I wish the Eagles nothing but the best (thrilled that Pleasant is getting some looks at the next level) - I just don't see the depth/talent at MOST positions.
