Next thing we'll hear is that the guy was getting the kids' lunch money for use of closet! Or had a small camera in the room! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE IDIOTS? How does a guy like this get hired to direct young people for anything?

 

And if I was one of the parents, once I finished with the "instructor", my next task would be to read the riot act to my kid.

What a moron! Besides the obvious, why on Earth would he text the kid(s) on what he was allowing them to do? This is like someone placing their criminal acts on YouTube, you're going to get caught.

As a teacher and administrator, one of the things I worried and continue to worry about are teachers that think they are "friends" of their students. They don't know how to balance the relationship between being a confidant/mentor/support and being the adult. This guy had that problem, based on the brief amount of info in this article, and it seemed to spiral out of control.
