Yeah. Tell me about it. One of the players told me that they are doing that now. Two-a-days are much better in my opinion. When I was there, you lifted/watched film from 10-11:30 and then went out to the field and did some small drills until 12:00. Then you went home and came back at 5 and had a full team, helmets only practice for two hours.

 

With camp being the first week of August, it helps condition your body to the point where you are able to ease into the three days. But have a one four hour practice is the dumbest thing.

 

Then again, that's what Vanderhoof did when he was head man. Seemed like it worked for him....so what do I know?

How about only counting down the week before the first scrimmage? The rest is a waste of time & space.

Think you've been misinformed. Practice doesn't start until Monday and the schedule on my fridge sys lifting from 1:30pm-3:00pm and the practice from 7:00pm-9:00pm. That's what my man in black says too.

That's just what another player told me. Like I said, I was told that. Whether it is true or not, I don't know. Just what I was told. I honestly hope I'm wrong. I really liked two a days and I think the four hour practice ideas are a little ridiculous.

You're welcome. I've been a member for a couple of years, just haven't posted in a while. My youngest son is a lineman and they are going to be doing two a days instead of one 4 hr practice.

 

Really looking forward to the season, it looks to be real promising. Great kids, coaches, school, community, and fan support.

 

Glad to have seen on here that you are gonna be able to make it to the games and I look forward to meeting you.

 

My oldest was a lineman that graduated in 2014, had one that played golf that graduated in 2015, and my youngest is a lineman and graduates in 2017.

 

Still see myself being a RAM FAN and attending the games after he graduates. It's kind of addictive.

I do know Lawrence County, KY had dropped out. I believe there is 10 or 11 varsity teams and 5 JR High and middle school teams.

I know East Carter isn't going this year, from what I heard

Raceland should have (3) teams. Musketeers (2) I think, as well as Sheldon Clark. Boyd Co., Lewis Co., & Ironton will also be there. Fleming Co. Should be there on Saturday.
