Will have 21 seniors. A lot of returning starters. Going into district with Highlands, Dixie, & Cov Cath will be a challenge. Kids will play hard.

I think Grant County will get better in time they a good feeder system in place.

They seem to be working hard in the off season. Will be tough for them in the district but they've been in it before so it's nothing new. As far as the feeder system, not so sure if it's a good one. Numbers are low in it and kids are choosing to go elsewhere.

Grant will surprize a lot of teams this year, don't count them out?

I certainly wish Grant County all the best, and I'd love to see them really develop into a solid football program...but to say they're in a tough district is an understatement. They're in the same district with Highlands, Dixie Heights, and Covington Catholic.

There in the same district that almost killed the program a few years ago.

You are right. It's hard for Grant to compete with Highlands, Dixie, and Cov Cath. I have heard they have a great head coach that is doing amazing things in Grant, maybe that's a start for their program.

The district they were in the last 4 years didn't exactly treat them well. I don't think they had a single district win during the time they played with Scott, Conner, Cooper, and SO. And Scott wasn't very good the first year or two they were in that district. Of course the current district will be tougher, but they will at least make the playoffs.

I can't see them getting a district win but how does the rest of their schedule stack up? What kind of record do you see them with at the end of the year?

We'll I'm not sure but , I can tell you this . They looked really impressive at the Ryle 7 on 7 tournament , they played right with all the teams the faced , they have a lot of talent as far as skill players , on both sides of the ball , not sure what there line looks like an we all no it starts there

Hope they do well, they've had a tough time.

No disrespect intended here but I have seen teams that would "WOW" you in 7 on 7 only to not win a game. Whole different game when you have guys coming off the ends and up the middle and making the QB move! I wish Grant Co. luck. Hopefully that can get a couple of wins outside their district.
