I would say it was in the early 90s Frank Jacobs (NewCath) played DE for UK I believe. If it was way before that then I guess his son played DE for UK?

Ok Frank Jacobs New Cath won Mr. Football in 1986 he played college football at Notre Dame.

1986. Sorry I was late seeing this.

 

Did not realize that Keith Morgan was named first team All State at QB. He was a great High School player but I don't know if he was All State worthy. Ads had a fine team. Beat HHS in a classic in the Regional and lost in the Mud Bath at Belfry in the Semi-Finals. Baughman was a talented RB for Danville who also made first team.

All American at EKU was Ernest Thompson I think.

Played against Frank Jacobs in Rec Bowl.He was great but I do remember Sam Watkins from Russell lighting him up. Was 5 feet from the hit and Frank sprang to his feet disoriented. Was probably the best hit we had on them. The rest were on us. Lol
