Wrigley Field Question

Featured Replies

Ah I must have misunderstood. Thanks for clarifying! It's been a long while since I have been to Wrigley for a game. Would love to go back once they are actually finished with all of the renovations.

Avoid it till the majority of the stadium renovations are done. It's a mess right now

That area was bad enough before the renovations started. I'll wait until they are long finished haha.

I've been looking but haven't pulled the plug on any yet. We are going to Thursdays game and maybe Friday or Saturday as well. I've got my eye on 2 in section 228 on eBay for $30 a piece.

I know the Reds website gives you the ability to see what your view would look from every seat in the stadium. Do other MLB teams have the same thing on their website?

Yes they do; I think all MLB teams have this.

I went several years ago for the first time. I had called the stadium several months of going to buy tickets but were sold out. I decided I was going to buy from scalper when I got there. We stayed downtown and took the train really early on gameday to walk around. I walked around the field and saw the ticket offices were open. I walked up to the ticket office probably four hours before the game and bought tickets right behind home plate at face value. So I am not sure if they release tickets everyday or what, might want to ask them.

For the past few years, I've had real good luck with craigslist. People selling season tickets. More than one game someone would prolly cut you a deal.

We're section 134 row 5, first base line, just passed the dugout. Paid $70.

The games are technically sold out. The Cubs basically scalp tickets for season ticket holders at the gate for a fee. Typically face or a little above.

Bought my tickets for tomorrow nights game. Section 219, Row 17. $18 a piece. Used the gametime app if anyone isn't familiar with it. Seems legit. Bought tickets off there for this last Sunday's game vs the Padres, 4th row under smoke stacks for $4 a piece. Tickets send straight to the app and scanned from your phone for entry into the game.
