So let me get this straight....When Cooper blew out NewCath last year it was because NewCath had a lot of injuries but when SK beat up on Cooper last year and Cooper was missing 6-7 starters and 3 backups to those starters it was because SK is just that good?

Big difference Cooper had over 80 kids but sounds like they only played 15 to 20 kids. NewCath had probably around 40 kids and half of them where Sophomores.

Again, how come you use the excuse of New Cath having injuries for their loss to Cooper yet you ignore that 6 starting defense men were out for Cooper when they played SK and SK won because they were simply better?

May not matter. May be a situation where QB hands off the ball and gets out of the way. Too much talent on this team to take lightly. Defense could be scary. Score once or twice on O and play physical/turnover D (see 2014: Ryle, NCC, Woodford Co., Franklin Co., Anderson Co.). Injuries hurt bad mid-season (not an excuse), young guys cut their teeth early, team peaked late. Good news...bunch of thumpers coming back healthy. The SK boys know what to expect out of Cooper from this class. They got a taste in the past.

The injury excuse is lame? Cooper doesn't have 80 kids first off. Second, 1 or 2 injuries might not matter. 9 injuries to consistent players hurts even a college team with over 100 kids. TCA played 4 snaps against SK because the game didn't matter, but I could care less about last year. SK graduated 25ish seniors, the majority of them played. Cooper graduated 7 and 3 of them played. Cooper will be just fine. Just like I am sure SK will have a nice season and early exit like always.

Cooper just got a QB transfer enrolled today eligible for next year parents moved from out of state and he has a D1 offer from Alabama, Auburn, and UCLA. Watch out SK and UKFan LOL

According to Maxpreps they had 83 kids on their roster.

Freshman included they had around 105 kids. There was around 63 on the varsity roster and about 35-40 on the freshman roster. With 63 kids, you have 9 contributing players injured, you do the math. That is 1/7 of your team out for a game. That makes a world of difference in high school football
