TBC Elite 17U

I was told Jared Farris had 21 points and 12 rebounds in the championship game.

Jared is, in my opinion, one of the more underrated kids in 2016 in Kentucky.

Congrats TBC Elite, one thing about Championship photos is if all the kids are smiling than you get a hint everyone is happy. Then again many kids just never smile for pictures and in this one nobody was. I counted 9 players, unless the kid to the far left of #15 who was in street clothes was injured from weekend play. Either that or he was a great photo bomber. By the looks of him I am guessing they only had 9 that weekend like was referenced above and this kid photo bombed with the best of them..

Then why did you guys move him to your B team last year when you added new players halfway through the season? That is not consistent with what you are saying?

I wasn't aware that complimenting a player would be controversial.

Didn't you just post for me to worry about my own program?

As far as Jared goes, he went from playing limited minutes on the16u to playing 17u and playing more minutes per game. I wasn't aware that going up a grade level and playing more was a demotion.

He was part of the team that finished 7th at 17u nationals.

Ms. Cheri is an angel for what she does for those boys.

Couldn't agree more. Cheri does amazing things for these boys.

TBC lost to Charlotte Court yesterday in the final four of 17U. Charlotte Court went on to beat Manimal in the championship game after.

I thought the most interesting thing I took from their team twitter was that as a non "shoe" sponsored team they had good success at state in their four years together. They went elite 8, final 4 (lost to eventual champ KY Heat in OT), elite 8, final 4 (lost to eventual champ Charlotte Court)

Not a bad four years together for that program.

Anyone on this team have college offers or interest? I know Jared Farris had some interest from D2 and low D1 last summer. What about the rest?

I've heard of interest for Farris but I don't recall any others.

Just saw on their Twitter account that Brown University (Ivy League) called to inquire about some of their players today.

Looking back through the tweets it seems as though Alabama Huntsville, University of Charleston, Bellarmine, and some other D2/D3 schools have been in contact with some of the players.

I don't know if they have many D1 players, but they seem to have a nice combination of D2/D3, and maybe NAIA caliber players assembled.

University of Charleston is a good university. Coach Osbourne is also a great guy. They heavily recruit KY and main recruiter was at UPike for a min...
