My college kid recently came home for Spring Break and I swear was more excited to see the pets than some of her siblings. LOL. Sometimes I have to Facetime them to her. Anyway it made me wonder how bad some people must miss their pets when they are away from home.

I miss mine, but they REALLY miss me.

I love my dog, especially because I found her on my birthday about three years ago.

 

I wanted a dog in college. My girlfriend came home with a cat. She isn't my girlfriend anymore. I still have the cat.

Seemed like a good idea at the time. I love dogs. Just other people's dogs it seems.

 

I'm kidding and really don't mind having a dog. It's basically a good dog with a few major physicological irregularities. But pretty well behaved. It's just not something I miss or even think about when I am away.

Love my dog, tolerate other peoples dogs. We had to leave our dog at the groomer for several days while we were out of town for a death in the family...when we picked him up he seemed to be shocked to see us. I think he thought we were gone forever.

I understand. I have always been an "animal person", so we had three kids. :lol2: While they were growing up, we had an assortment of cats and dogs which I really liked, but I would admit my and our focus was on the kids, and the animals were far behind. Now that the nest is empty, I admit that I interact way more with my dogs and cat than I ever did and have become reliant on the interaction.

I adore my dogs. And I still cry over losing my LuckyDog. I HATE being away from them. Now that I work from home 2 days a week, I've gotten even worse about doing anything that takes me away from them. I may have a problem. :lol2:

 

I will travel without them for work, only because I have no choice. But I won't travel for more than an overnight for personal trips without them.

 

I love all dogs. And if you leave a dog with me, I will make it mine.

I want a dog! But I am in the minority at my house.
