You mean to tell me that BW is loaded with stud pitchers? They should have used one of the other studs if Curley is to get enough qaulity at bats to impress the scotts with his hitting or maybe they are watching him for something else?

Good win for HHS, and no...the kid BW threw this is his first year playing, and the only reason he is playing is to get a letter in sports to be able to military acadamy.....and yes HHS did throw their ace.

I think Allen's their "ace", although I'm not sure they really have one. The Rawlings kid hasn't pitched in 4 weeks so I seriously doubt he's their "ace".

Highlands has the ability to be a very good team... I hadn't heard Rawlings being that good, but if he held Beechwood to a couple runs, then Highlands has two very good pitchers...

And for everyone who wants to talk about games that they didn't see, all that happened was HHS was up 11-2 and ran a flop play with a kid on 3rd and 1st, and the kid on third scored. It was a classless act, and unless you were there to see it...................dont talk about it.

 

 

And DD, Beechwood does not run up any score. All the games you are referring to was mostly done with JV players. I dont come on here and talk about your team when I dont have a clue what I am talking about, so I expect you do the same. Exploding for 10 runs, and pulling out the "flop play" then you are up by 9 are two totally different things.

So, HHS should give them a chance to get back in the game. You're missing the point. HHS has no clue how many runs it takes to win a game. When you're in a tournament you want to use the least amount of pitchers possible. If you can "finish" a team in 5 innings, you do it PERIOD. HHS did it, deal with it.

 

For the record, I can't believe people are complaining about HHS running up the score in baseball.

Nice win for the Birds. That being said, The flop play that BW impliments is only used in close ball games. To do that in a 11-2 game is pretty bush. I'm sure BW will be hoping for a rematch.:fight:
