I realize that you can't please everybody, but this is kinda crazy...

 

There are three Campbell County girls on the watch list, more than many teams. I'm trying to figure out how that actually disrespects the Camels. Heck, I even made this post answering a person who was wondering about the Campbell County girls, specifically to show that the Camels were recognized on our list. But yet, we still get this passive-aggressive statement: Oh well hope the Lady Camels are lucky enough to win a couple of games this year.

 

I mean, who's disrespecting whom here? The Camels are going to win a bunch of games, not just a couple! They have three girls on our watch list, and I could have listed more, believe me. They have an outstanding coach, who answered my questionnaire. I hope I get to see them play Bishop Brossart. That's always a live one!

Despite the slow, agonizing, disappearing act that is the daily newsprint, Marc Hardin is an absolute pro .. a throwback to what a print journalist should be. Every time I've dealt with him, he has been respectful and professional, and works diligently to be accurate.

 

Anyone who questions his aim and expertise is off base (no pun intended). Keep up the good work Marc. :up:

When I posted about Campbell County, on my phone I couldn't tell there was a link. I guess I got lucky with posting the same girls as marc.hardin. I kinda like the idea of not having a kid put in the lime light and turning it into fuel for the flame. What you put down marc.hardin is fine with me. I'll try to keep up with Campbell County varsity better and look into JV and freshman for up and coming to post about.

NDA and Conner scrimmaged yesterday. Sounds like both Hayley and Biz dominated.

All I learned is that if you want to have a great fastpitch pitcher, just name your daughter either Hayley or Haylee. Doesn't seem to matter as long it is one of those spellings.

For Campbell County..☆Jessica Verst, who I heard is going to Thomas Moore and I think she's their SS.

☆Mallory McGrath, who is going to be replacing Rachel Carrol in the circle. The only game I saw her pitch last year, she went from catcher to pitcher. I'm assuming she caught more than pitched since they had Rachel last year. Keep in mind I only made it to 2 games and I'm basing this off of what I've been told and observed in those games.

☆ Danielle Orick, who my understanding is a good all around player.

☆ The rest of the team....hopefully someone with more info can fill us in better.

 

Jessica I think is moving to 2nd this year and Danielle will be their SS. She (Orrick) played CF for CC last year.

Both are nice players and you couldn't go wrong with either.

Orrick and Verst are 2 solid players. I don't know Danielle, but Jessica is a very good kid and her dad is ok too :lol2:
